Every journey begins with a single step — and every tea shop begins with a single cup.
I have been meaning to build this little place for some time now. You see, in a world full of noise and hurry, I wanted somewhere quiet. Somewhere that feels like sitting down with a warm cup of jasmine tea on a rainy afternoon, with no one rushing you to leave.
Why a tea shop on the web?
I have travelled far and wide, and if there is one thing I have learned, it is that the best conversations happen in small places. Not grand palaces or busy marketplaces, but tea shops. Quiet corners where strangers become friends.

The internet is much the same. It is richer when we each tend our own small gardens, rather than gathering in the same few crowded squares.
Alter Ego
Do not worry, for I am not mad. I like to write from Iroh's perspective from time to time, because he has been my alter ego in the online world for quite some time. I will break character and write from my own perspective most of the time, but whenever wisdom and insight are needed, Iroh will have an open mind and share his knowledge.
